This ceremony is the Changing of the Guard in Horse Guards Parade. The regiment in red tunics with white plumes on their helmets, with their backs to us, are the Life Guards. The squadron facing us, who are in fact wearing blue tunics and have red plumes on their helmets, are the Blues and Royals.
