Low Calorie Culver's Orders
I don't know about you, but I think Culver's is the most underrated fast food restaurant out there. I mean, everything I've ever had from there has been delicious, and since I'm always looking for healthier and lower calorie options, I put together this list! It includes all of the best healthy menu items that you can order, with tips on how to make them lower in calories.
Now, the best part about ordering low calorie at Culver's is you don't have to seek out some secret menu. the best thing of all is you won't find these foods on some secret menu!
All the items on this list are standard Culver's menu items with less than 400 calories, and I've ordered them from lowest calories to highest to make it super easy to pick what you're looking for. By the way, if you want to do your own research, I used Culver's Nutrition Calculator, which has all the nutritional information for each item.
With that being said, let's get right into the list of foods!
1. 1 piece Breaded Cod Dinner
Nutrition information for one piece of cod:
- 210 calories
- 12g fat
- 9g carbs
- 16g protein
If you like seafood, the cod dinner is an excellent option. It's high in protein and pretty low in calories. If you want, you can order it on a bun, but that will make the meal have 430 calories.
I like to just order the breaded cod and either add a garden salad for 50 calories or steamed broccoli for 40 calories.
2. Butterfly Jumbo Shrimp Basket
Nutrition information for three piece shrimp:
- 220 Calories
- 9g Fat
- 27g Carbs
- 7g Protein
Another low calorie seafood option is the butterfly shrimp. The shrimp are lightly breaded and fried to perfection, and served with a lemon wedge and Culver's signature co*cktail sauce.
If you're really hungry, you can even order the six piece jumbo shrimp for only 380 calories!
3. Corn Dog
Nutrition information for one corn dog:
- 240 Calories
- 14g Fat
- 23g Carbs
- 6g Protein
There aren't many places that you can order a corn dog from, but Culver's is one of them! The classic corn dog is so good, and it has just 240 calories! I like to eat it with some yellow mustard since it doesn't add any calories to the meal, but you can eat it with ketchup if you prefer for just 30 extra calories.
4. Chicken Tenders
Nutrition information for two tenders:
- 270 Calories
- 12g Fat
- 21g Carbs
- 20g Protein
You may wonder how low calorie fried chicken is even possible, but it's all about portion sizes. Two Culver's Chicken Tenders make a great snack or side, with only 270 calories in both original and Buffalo tenders.
Not only that, but they are seriously delicious, with white chicken meat, a crispy coating with a blend of herbs, deep fried until crispy and golden brown. They come with your choice of sauces, with my personal favorite, Frank's Red Hot dipping sauce, for only an extra 5 calories! Just request the sauce on the side to keep the calorie count down.
5. Chicken Cashew Salad with Grilled Chicken
Nutrition information for one salad with no cashews:
- 290 Calories
- 12g Fat
- 9g Carbs
- 43g Protein
From Chick-Fil-A to McDonald's, you can find a wide range of salads at fast food restaurants these days. However, while some of these salads are still seriously unhealthy (a large McDonald's salad has more calories and fat than their burgers), the Culver's Chicken Cashew Salad with Grilled Chicken is nutritious, low in calories, and super delicious.
It features grilled chicken breast, fresh mixed greens, shredded Wisconsin cheddar, tomato, and cucumber. It also comes with cashews for 450 calories, but if you order it without the cashews, this salad has just 290 calories!
By the way, this salad also is one of the highest protein salads Culver's has on their menu. It easily made it's way onto my list of the best high protein options at Culver's...along with several of their other salads.
6. George’s Chili Supreme
Nutrition information for one medium chili:
- 290 Calories
- 13g Fat
- 26g Carbs
- 17g Protein
Who doesn't like a bowl of chili on a cold winter day, especially when it's only 290 calories! Combining homestyle simmered beef, chillis, chopped tomatoes, kidney beans, celery, onion, and a blend of secret spices, it's one of my absolute faves!
A side of saltine crackers is only an extra 25 calories, but if you're feeling really hungry, a large chili with crackers is only 455 calories.
7. One Scoop Ice Cream Dish
Nutrition information for one scoop of chocolate ice cream:
- 290 Calories
- 14g Fat
- 36g Carbs
- 6g Protein
If you're craving dessert, the one scoop of vanilla frozen custard in a dish is just what you need. It's delicious and has under 300 calories, which isn't too bad for fast food ice cream. If you're more of a vanilla ice cream person, you can get a scoop of vanilla for 310 calories.
8. Garden Fresca Salad
Nutrition information for one salad:
- 350 Calories
- 14g Fat
- 15g Carbs
- 45g Protein
I love a classic house salad with grilled chicken, and that's exactly what the Garden Fresca salad from Culver's is! It has a mixed greens salad blend, tomatoes, cucumber, croutons, and sharp cheddar cheese.
If you want to save some calories, order it with no croutons and no cheese, and it will have just 180 calories!
9. Grilled Chicken Sandwich
Nutritional information for one sandwich:
- 390 calories
- 8g Fat
- 40g Carbs
- 41g Protein
I love myself a grilled chicken sandwich, and the one from Culver's is sooo good. With juicy, grilled chicken breast, mixed greens, tomato, pickle, and mustard on a hoagie bun, it's healthy and delicious with over 40 grams of protein!
For more protein, add a slice of cheddar cheese for only 80 calories.
10. Butterburger Single
Nutritional information for one burger:
- 390 calories
- 17g fat
- 38g carbs
- 20g carbs
You can't have a fast food list without a burger, and the single patty butterburger is the ideal low calorie choice from Culver's. It comes with just a burger on a buttered bun, so I like to add some shredded lettuce, tomato, and red onion for just 10 extra calories.
