Job Description

Datavant is a data logistics company for healthcare whose products and solutions enable organizations to move and connect data securely. By joining Datavant today, you’re stepping onto a highly collaborative, remote-first team that is passionate about creating transformative change in healthcare. We hire for three traits: we want people who are smart, nice, and get things done. We invest in our people and believe in hiring for high-potential and humble individuals who can rapidly grow their responsibilities as the company scales. Datavant is a distributed, remote-first team, and we empower Datavanters to shape their working environment in a way that suits their needs.

We’re looking for an experienced product manager with a preference toward building enterprise software and internal tools .You’re one to get excited when you see a challenge, you love trying new things, and learning about and improving your craft of product discovery and delivery is a constant interest.

As the product manager for our Retrievals Operations product, your goal is to ensure that our internal users and external users’ needs are well-served by our core product to our payer clients by empowering our manual retrieval operations team. At its heart, this work is about ensuring the secure and compliant exchange of health information across thousands of provider groups (health systems, clinics, MSOs, etc), and doing so in an efficient, accurate and seamless way for our payer clients. This role will manage a small team of product managers and product owners and this pod is central to orchestrating the interplay of digital and manual workflows at the core of healthcare information exchange.

We’re looking for a technically-minded product manager who can work collaboratively with engineers, product managers, and operations partners to gather insights on user needs and ship innovative functionality that achieves operational and financial efficiency goals. You will also thinkthrough longer term product strategy and how components of our extensive product can be leveraged for other uses as well as scale with our growth. An interest in or understanding of data flows, operational workflows, data regulations, and data technology in healthcare will be necessary.

You might not like this role if

Like with any role, this one isn’t for everyone. We want to outline why you might dislike the role, though for the right candidate we anticipate that these are reasons you are *interested in the role. *

  • If you dislike operating within a highly regulated segment where product insights can be found in the pages of dry regulatory text

Your first 30 days will include

  • Learning all about the core business of information exchange / release of information in healthcare
  • Defining the charter of this pod with product, engineering, and operations stakeholders
  • Collaborating with product, engineering, and operations stakeholders to define this pod’s Q4 roadmap
  • Shipping several key improvements that’ll positively impact tens of millions of patients’ lives
  • Working out with your engineering team how you’d like to work

What you bring to the table

  • 3-5 years of product management experience in tech-forward companies
  • 1-3 years of experience managing a small team
  • Experience, or demonstrated interest, in the healthcare provider / payer / services industry
  • Experience coming up to speed in a regulated industry, inexplicable desire to read and grapple with regulations
  • Kindness, smartness, and the ability to Get Things Done

We are committed to building a diverse team of Datavanters who are all responsible for stewarding a high-performance culture in which all Datavanters belong and thrive. We are proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, religion, national origin, disability, veteran status, or other legally protected status.

Our compensation philosophy is to be externally competitive, internally fair, and not win or lose on compensation. Salary ranges for this position are developed with the support of benchmarks and industry best practices.

We’re building a high-growth, high-autonomy culture. We rely less on job titles and more on cultivating an environment where anyone can contribute, the best ideas win, and personal growth is driven by expanding impact. This means we default to simple job titles (e.g., Software Engineer) rather than complex ones (e.g., Senior Software Engineer). The range posted is for a given job title, which can include multiple levels. Individual rates for the same job title may differ based on level, responsibilities, skills, and experience for a specific job. The estimated salary range for this role is $200,000-$240,000.

At the end of this application, you will find a set of voluntary demographic questions. If you choose to respond, your responses will be anonymous and used to help us identify areas of improvement in our recruitment process. (We can only see aggregate responses, not individual responses. In fact, we aren’t even able to see if you’ve responded or not.) Responding is your choice and it will not be used in any way in our hiring process.

✨ Who we are

Co-founded by Mikhail Dubov and Dmitry Isupov in 2015 while at Entrepreneur First, Chattermill was born out of their frustration that it took weeks, sometimes months, for customer research to yield any quality insights. Often, these would be out of date by the time they reached decision-makers. And it was also financially out of reach for most companies. When they started what eventually became Chattermill, they had a hunch that they could use the newly available tech of deep learning to help companies find insights amidst messy data. Their vision was to take what agencies and cutting-edge brands were doing by hand and automate it. Today, our Unified Customer Intelligence platform is used by the world’s best-loved customer-centric companies, including Uber, HelloFresh, Wise, and more, all of whom can now see and act on their customer reality.

*Our Mission & Vision *

  • Our mission is to empower teams to see their customer reality
  • Our vision is to analyse over a billion pieces of customer feedback by 2027

🔎 Our Hiring Process

  1. Let’s introduce ourselves – you’ll have an introductory call with our People & Talent team - we’d love to learn more about you, your ambitions, and what you’re looking for in your next step.
  2. Get to know your would-be manager – you’ll have a call with Vincent Dollet, our VP Product, to learn more about the role and show off your experience. You'll give a short presentation of something you've shipped recently and have a feedback session.

Job Description

We are seeking a WORLD CLASS UI/UX designer, with experience in creating consumer applications - both mobile and web - for a Nomad & Travel Social Networking App.

Who are we?
Satlantis is the world’s first “travel and community social network.” Imagine Instagram meets TripAdvisor meets Google Places. It’s a travel directory, social network and merchant map, all in one.

We are funded, and have a team of 8 people across product, data, Nostr, ops and engineering. We are all hands on product development right now and if you want to help shape the future of this product, and of global travel & nomading, THIS is your chance.

The Role
We’re looking for someone who can lead the design of both our web and mobile products, and also take on the responsibility of establishing our brand presence, and guiding our junior designer who is in charge of general graphics for socials, etc.

In this position, you will be responsible for the creation of wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups, as well as conducting user research and testing to validate design decisions.

We have quite a mature design style and aesthetic having worked with one of the BEST Nostr designers in the world - but the workload is too much for that person to handle considering their other life commitments, so we’re looking for someone to take this on as their full time, focused career role.

This is a REMOTE role, with a healthy salary and, for the right candidate, an opportunity for a significant equity stake in the company.

Key responsibilities:

  • Able to work with and provide our engineering team with both low-fi UX flows and hi-fi UI designs for both mobile & web.
  • Own the Satlantis brand and product
  • Work closely with the head or product, and CEO to turn ideas and roadmap into beautiful product designs that the engineering team can build and customers will use
  • Push the boundaries of what’s possible for social networking
  • Interview users, travelers, nomads and learn about what they want to help guide product design strategy & decisions
  • Mentor our junior graphics designer
  • Work with our Nostr-design consultant (who has led the product design thus far)
  • Work with Figma
  • Facilitate workshops with the team and design sprints.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.

Must have

  • Native or Fluent English
  • At least 8 years experience working on product design (both UI and UX) with at least 5 years in Mobile
  • At least 5 years experience in consumer applications

Nice to have

  • This is a remote role, and our preference is that you’re either in Australia or Canada.
  • Previous experience with Social Media applications
  • Previous experience with mobile Fintech applications
  • Previous experience with, or knowledge of Bitcoin

About Sensible

Sensible connects software to the messy, unstructured data that businesses encounter every day. Our goal is to bring about a world where computers do the work that computers are best at (processing large volumes of data) so that humans can do what humans are best at (critical thinking and empathy).

The first piece of this problem that we're tackling is document parsing. Even as software is eating the world, so many business workflows still rely on two entities sending PDFs to each other. In a single afternoon with Sensible, developers can ship a production-ready API endpoint that turns documents into useful data. Today, we have happy customers across insurance, logistics, proptech, and financial services using Sensible to process thousands of different types of documents.

Sensible was founded in 2020 and is backed by some of the top investors in Silicon Valley, including Craft Ventures, Engineering Capital, and Clocktower Technology Ventures.

About the role

Sensible is looking for an experienced Product Marketer to join our growing team. As a product marketer, you will lead core product marketing initiatives, build awareness with our target market, and generate inbound leads for our sales team.

This role requires a mix of creative and quantitative thinking. You'll develop a product messaging and positioning framework that resonates with developers and presents our products in ways that increase Sensible’s ACV.

Ultimately, you will drive awareness, product adoption and revenue growth. This position reports to the Head of Marketing.

Sensible is a remote-first company and this role is open to anyone located in North or South America. We provide competitive compensation and meaningful equity.

Responsibilities

  • Understand the buyer’s journey and work with the team to develop content and tools that support each stage
  • Craft compelling messaging and positioning across marketing channels (blog posts, landing pages, ad campaigns, emails, collateral, videos) and verticals
  • Coordinate product launches and announcements
  • Interview customers and write compelling case studies to showcase success stories
  • Identify, coordinate and launch profitable new customer segments
  • Script, record and edit product demo videos and webinars
  • Partner with various teams and agencies (design, content, acquisition, product, sales) to implement strategies

You’ll be a great fit for the role if you:

  • Have experience in a similar role at a developer tools startup as a Product Marketing Manager, Product Manager, Developer Evangelist or similar with at least 4 years of experience
  • Are highly technical with a strong command of the software development process and a deep understanding of developers
  • Are an excellent storyteller with stellar writing and presentation creation skills and an ability to translate learnings into content
  • Have a growth mindset – you’re always learning and trying to improve
  • Have a keen eye for detail and good taste in design
  • Are data driven and know how to use analytics to measure success of marketing programs (e.g., set and track KPIs for deliverables)
